CIRCUIT FESTIVAL in Barcelona this week August 4th - 11th

Circuit Festival, powered by Matinée Group, number one European nightlife promoter, is the newest international culture, leisure and clubbing gay & lesbian event and will go down on Barcelona between August 4th and August 11th.

From its birth Circuit Festival stands as a point of reference when it comes to the gay & lesbian leisure scene in Europe, filling the long existent gap that asked for a fun filled summer event. Circuit is bound to meet and match the expectations of a crowd both diverse and demanding. With that specific goal in mind, the festival will host 14 different clubbing venues (nine of them for the boys, five of them for the girls) as well as a wide range of day-time activities, mostly related to the arts as well as the world of leisure in a wider sense: Europe’s first gay & lesbian day at a water park, art exhibits, film seasons, workshops, debates or showcases are just some of the examples of just how much there is to be done.

Circuit’s multicultural edge (over 30.000 attendants from more than 50 different countries) will turn the festival in not only a celebration of sexual diversity, but also of ethnic and cultural diverseness.

In this edition, which counts with support from top event promoters, clubs, official organizations and associations related to Europe’s gay & lesbian reality, the artistic line up comes across as a meeting point for the cream of the crop of the international nightlife scene. By counting with stellar guests and performances one simply wouldn’t miss, Circuit tends to the needs and likes of both the feminine and masculine crowd.

"Circuit Festival aims to turn Barcelona into the unquestionable gay & lesbian destination each summer. We firmly believe that Barcelona is and should remain the true gay capital of southern Europe, and Circuit Festival will add its quality and philosophy in order to make it happen. Circuit is precisely about that:  we know that there are as many gay and lesbian types as actual gay and lesbians, so the festival arranges itself as a wide spread circuit of distinct and diverse activities that will line up during one week in order to offer gays and lesbians the possibility of finding their personal definition of fun and lifestyle in our city."
