It only happens once a year! The Banquet Hall tree raising to kick off the holidays. A horse-drawn wagon makes its way to the front of Biltmore House, bringing Santa and the towering 35' tree that will grace the Banquet Hall.   

Watch this cool time lapse of the 35' tree going up!  It took 40 people just to get the 35-foot Frasier Fir inside Biltmore’s Banquet Hall. Employees hoisted the tree into place using ropes and pulleys to secure it into position. Then a separate team added 500 lights and over 1,000 ornaments. Hours of heavy lifting and holiday trimming are put it into this one minute of video fun.
